The university, as a supporting partner of IME SolidWorks Innovation Day 2019, has held an exhibition where students’ design work using SolidWorks software are displayed. The center has sent its project teams to display their 3D design of projects such as robotic rover, robotic arm and robotic hand.

Participating InoTech 2018
The center had two projects- the 3D-printed robotic hand and robot rover in InoTech 2018, an exhibition allowing innovative young undergraduate engineering and computing students to exhibit their ideas on recent technologies in their relevant field of engineering or computing to solve problems.
Champion of APROC 2018
APROC is an annual robotics competition organized by IASS (IEM APU Student Section). In 2018, APCORE has been invited to co-organize this event and has sent a team to participate in the inter-varsity UniBot Challenge as well. Our team has brought pride to the research center by winning as Champion in the challenge!!
Visit to MetalTech Exhibition 2018
Some members of the research center has visited the 24th International Machine Tools and Metalworking Technology Exhibition and had the chance to get a closer look on new machinery and tools.
Project BCI-Rehab Device awarded Silver Medal in ITEX 2018
Some student members of the center were given an opportunity to showcase their projects in this international-level exhibition, and have successfully bagged two silver medal for their innovative ideas.
Python Workshop May’18
To prepare more members of APU with programming skills, the center has invited an experienced developer to conduct a Python workshop for them.

One of our student members, Dara, has conducted a workshop on how Internet of Things (IoT) application can be developed with Raspberry Pi and Android devices.
KL Raspberry Jam 2016
Collaborating with Malaysia Raspberry Pi Club, APCORE has organized the Kuala Lumpur Raspberry Jam 2016. Inventors were invited give talks on the application of Raspberry Pi, the credit card-sized computers, to the members of APU and the public.
Industrial Visit to ABB
The members were presented an opportunity to visit one of the leading company in robotics industry, ABB, to have better understanding on how robotics can be applied in the modern world.

The head of research center, Mr Suresh Gobee, has conducted a workshop on BoeBot to APU students to ignite their passion toward robotics engineering.
